Basic Functions

Temperature monitoring and display: real-time monitoring of the dry-type transformer winding temperature in the wire package, and through the display to show the current temperature value. Some models also have three-phase circuit display / maximum value display function, can clearly present the temperature of each phase.
Automatic/manual start/stop control of the fan: when the temperature of the transformer rises, it can be automatically activated.Cooling FansAccelerate heat dissipation; when the temperature is reduced to a certain level, automatically stop the fan operation to save energy, or manually control the start and stop of the fan.
Alarm function: It has various alarm functions such as over-temperature alarm, fault alarm, cabinet door opening alarm and so on. When the corresponding abnormal situation occurs, it will issue sound and light alarm signals to remind the staff to deal with it in time.
Trip protection function: If the temperature exceeds the preset over-temperature trip value, the thermostat will trigger a trip action to cut off the circuit to protect the transformer from damage.

"Black box" function: it can record the temperature of the three winding packages and the working status of the machine before the power outage, which is convenient to analyze the cause in case of failure.
Fan timed excitation function: it can start the fan automatically at regular intervals to keep the fan in good running condition and prolong its service life.
Simulation test function: it can be used to simulate the functions of the thermostat, which is convenient for checking whether the equipment works normally during installation and commissioning or daily maintenance.
Digital Compensation Function: Digital compensation of temperature measurement results to improve measurement accuracy and ensure the accuracy of temperature display.

Extended functionality

Analog current output: BWDK-S201E model adds three or four independent 4～20mA analog current outputs on this basis, which can convert the temperature signal into current signal, and is convenient for linkage control or remote transmission with other equipment.
Serial communication function: Model BWDK-S201F adds RS485/232 serial communication function, which can realize the communication with the upper computer or other intelligent devices for remote monitoring and data collection.
Machine room ambient temperature measurement and control: BWDK-S201G type in the conventional function on the basis of an increase of all the way machine room ambient temperature measurement and control function, can be at the same time on the machine room ambient temperature monitoring and control, for the transformer to provide a more comprehensive working environment protection.
Transformer core temperature measurement and alarm: BWDK-S201I type increases the transformer core temperature measurement and alarm function, which can monitor the core temperature in real time, and send out the alarm signal in time when the temperature is abnormal, which further improves the safety of transformer operation.
