BWY2-803

BWY transformer thermostat is a device used to monitor and control the temperature of transformer, which can effectively guarantee the safe and stable operation of transformer. The following is a detailed introduction about it:
Functional Features
Temperature Measurement: Measure the temperature rise of the oil surface by using PT100 platinum RTD temperature sensor, the measurement range is generally - 40℃-200℃, the measurement accuracy can reach ±1℃, the resolution is 0.1℃.
Fan control: when the oil surface temperature reaches the set fan start temperature value, the fan automatically starts; when the temperature drops to the set shutdown temperature value, the fan automatically shuts down. At the same time, there is also a fan timing detection function, to avoid the fan for a long period of time does not start and rust blocking damage.
Alarm and trip: When the oil surface temperature reaches the set over-temperature alarm temperature, the thermostat issues sound and light alarms and connects the alarm output terminal; when the temperature reaches the set trip temperature value, the thermostat connects the trip output terminal to start the trip circuit, in order to prevent accidental triggering of the trip, the ad hoc has a delay time of about 6S.
Data Recording and Transmission: Some models of BWY thermostats have the "black box" function, which can record the temperature of the oil surface and the ambient temperature and humidity data and the working status before the power outage, and can also transmit the temperature parameters to the back-end monitoring and management in real time through RS485 communication.

Installation and Wiring

  • Installation: Usually use open hole embedded installation, according to the product instructions in the electrical cabinet to open the corresponding size of the hole, the thermostat will be embedded and fixed using the supporting bracket.
  • Wiring MethodThe PT100 oil temperature sensor is installed first, and the sensor terminal is connected to the terminal of the thermostat after the sensor line is arranged; the fan control generally adopts AC220V source output, and the fan is directly connected to the terminal at the back of the thermostat; the outputs of high temperature alarm, ultra-high temperature trip and fault are all passive dry node outputs, which can be connected according to the product specification; the connection of RS485 communication function can be up to 1200 meters away from the backstage monitoring link line. When connecting with RS485 communication function, the distance between the link line and the backstage can reach 1200 meters, and more than this distance can be equipped with relevant equipment for connection.
