Installation and Commissioning Instructions for IB-S201 Thermostat

Installation steps

1. open aperture: Cut a suitable hole on the mounting surface according to the size of the thermostat. Typically, the IB-S201 thermostat hole size is 153mm x 77mm.
2. Fixed thermostat: Secure the thermostat fixing bracket to the angle iron bracket with hexagonal bolts, hexagonal nuts, spring spacers, and flat spacers, and then embed the thermostat meter in the thermostat fixing bracket.
3. Connecting Sensors: Install the platinum RTD sensor in a suitable position in the winding of the dry-type transformer, make sure that the installation is firm and the sensor probe is in good contact with the winding, and then connect the sensor cable to the corresponding terminals of the thermostat, pay attention to the wiring to be correct and firm, to avoid loose impact on the measurement accuracy.
4. Connecting the power cord: Connect the AC 220V power cord to the power input terminal of the thermostat to ensure correct wiring and avoid damage to the thermostat or safety accidents caused by wrong connection.
5. Connecting the output control cable: According to the actual demand, connect the thermostat's fan control output, alarm output, trip output and other control lines to the corresponding equipment or circuit, such as connecting the fan control line to theCooling Fanscontrol circuits, alarm and trip control wires are connected to the appropriate alarm devices and trip circuits.

commissioning procedure

1. Pre-energization check: Double-check that all wiring is correct and firm, and that there are no loose or short-circuited wires, and make sure that there are no errors before turning on the power.
2. Start-up Observation: After turning on the power, observe whether the thermostat displays normally, if the screen does not display, check whether the power cord is connected, whether the power switch is open, whether the fuse is blown, etc.
3. Temperature display check: Check whether the thermostat can display the three-phase winding temperature normally, if a phase displays "-OP-" and the fault light is on, it may be that the sensor has poor contact, is not plugged in, or is damaged, and it is necessary to check the sensor connection or replace the sensor.
4. parameterization::
   • temperature setting: Contact the manufacturer InnoTech to request
   • Other parameters: Parameters such as alarms can also be set as required, refer to the thermostat manual for specific operation.
5. Functional Testing::
   • Fan function test: You can manually operate the fan start-stop button to check whether the fan can start and stop normally; you can also raise the temperature setpoint so that the thermostat reaches the fan start temperature, and observe whether the fan starts automatically and whether it stops automatically after the temperature is lowered.
   • Alarm and trip function test: Artificially set over the alarm and trip temperature values, and observe whether the thermostat can send out an alarm signal in time, and whether it can perform the trip action according to the setting.
   • Fault Alarm Test: It is possible to simulate situations such as sensor failures, such as disconnecting a phase of sensor wiring to see if the thermostat can detect a fault and signal a fault alarm.
