YZF3-200 Remote Transmissionoil level meterIt is used on the oil conservator of fully sealed large and medium-sized transformers. When the oil level in the oil conservator changes, the float on the connecting rod of the oil level meter swings up and down, driving the rotation mechanism of the oil level meter to rotate, and the oil level of the oil conservator is indicated by the pointer on the dial through the rotation of the magnetic coupling and the pointer shaft. The oil level meter is equipped with an over-limit oil level alarm mechanism, and the signal transmitter converts the oil level signal into 4-20 mA standard current value, realizing the long-distance oil level monitoring.

YZF3-200 Remote Oil Level Gauge Working Principle

Power transformer and other power equipment oil temperature changes or other reasons lead to the oil level of the oil storage cabinet rises or falls, YZ series pointer oil level meter float or telescopic rod senses the oil level changes, and through the gear set and magnetic coupling oil level changes will be transmitted to the oil level meter pointer, indicating the oil level of the high and low; when the oil level rises to the oil level meter's high oil level alarm position or when the oil level drops to the oil level meter low oil level alarm position, the magnet suction (or cam toggle) the corresponding reed contact switch (or micro switch) to send an electrical signal. When the oil level rises to the high oil level alarm position of the oil level gauge or when the oil level falls to the low oil level alarm position of the oil level gauge, the magnet attracts (or the cam toggles) the corresponding reed contact switch (or microswitch) to send out an electrical signal. If the product is equipped with real-time oil level monitoring analog output function, the measuring device through the signal conversion circuit will be the oil level changes in 4 ~ 20mA analog signal output, to achieve remote monitoring function.

When configuring the analog output function for real-time monitoring of oil level in oil conservator, the pointer of oil level meter corresponds to output analog 4mA and 20mA at 0 and 10 positions of dial scale respectively, and the angle of 0 to 10 of oil level meter dial scale is 270º or 120º, and the relationship between its output analog mA at each position and the swing angle of oil level meter dial pointer is as follows:

Analog output = {(20-4)/oil level gauge dial angle} x oil level gauge dial pointer swing angle + 4mA.

For example, when the pointer is pointing to bit 1, the output analog quantity is calculated as: {(20-4)/270}x27+4=5.60mA

When the pointer is pointing at 150º, the output analog is calculated as {(20-4)/270}x150+4=12.89mA

Installation and Maintenance

  • probe

After connecting the float to the pendulum (float section) first, do the following checks:

a. Check that the pointer is not loose and rotates flexibly.

b. Check the lowest and highest point indication, when the float pendulum respectively in the lowest and highest position, the pointer should be respectively in the red area should be alarmed (such as purchased products for high and low oil level alarm should also be alarmed in the area).

c. Check dial glass for damage.

d. Check if the float is damaged. The pendulum is firmly connected to the float and to the transmission part.

  • mounting

When installing, first extend the float part into the oil storage cabinet, and then fasten the oil level gauge to the mounting flange with bolts. The mounting flange is provided by the user.

  • Maintenance and Precautions

Since this oil level meter is a precision instrument, it is not allowed to be disassembled or installed without special reasons. Once a failure occurs, you should contact the manufacturer in time. Precautions are as follows:

a. Check this oil level timing, do not hit its transmission part violently.

b. This oil level meter is not applicable to the place where the surrounding environment has violent vibration and bumps, and is not easy to be strongly impacted.

c. The liquid level measured by this oil level gauge is also less likely to fluctuate violently.

d. When the oil level gauge is transported as a whole with the oil storage cabinet, the float part should be fixed (preferably installed on site).

e. Input power supply operating voltage should not exceed 35V, otherwise it may cause damage to the transmitter. It is recommended to use 24V, 2500Ω DC.
