BWD Dry-type transformer thermostatThe presentation:
Functional Features
- Temperature monitoring: Utilizing the PT100 platinum RTD embedded in the three-phase windings of the dry-type power transformer, the temperature of the three-phase windings is monitored in real time, and a three-phase roving display can be realized, which can also be switched to the highest temperature display mode.
- intelligent control: Automatic control based on preset temperature thresholdsCooling FansThe start and stop of the fan. When the temperature of any phase exceeds the set start-up threshold, the fan starts automatically; when it is lower than the shutdown threshold, the fan shuts down, so as to ensure that the transformer's heat dissipation efficiency and energy consumption are in balance.
- hierarchical protectionOver-temperature alarm and over-temperature trip function. When the temperature exceeds the over-temperature alarm setting value, it triggers sound and light alarm to remind the staff to pay attention to it; when the temperature continues to rise to reach the over-temperature trip setting value, the thermostat will send out a trip signal to cut off the power supply to prevent the equipment from being damaged due to overheating.
- fault diagnosis: With sensor fault self-test function, some models can also monitor the transformer open door fault, when the thermostat rear panel "door signal" two terminal sub-shorting, the panel "fault" indicator light, and at the same time issued an alarm signal.
- Data loggingWith "black box" function, it can record the temperature of three-phase winding wire package and the working status of the machine before power failure, which is convenient for accident analysis and traceability after the failure.

Common Models
(The following is only a reproduction and does not represent any of our model parameters)
- BWD-3K130A: It has the functions of circuit detecting and displaying temperature, over-temperature alarm, over-high-temperature automatic trip, sensor failure alarm, but does not control the fan.
- BWD-3K130B: Based on the 3K130A, it adds the function of controlling the start and stop of the fan, and also provides a fault signal output (optional).
- BWD-3K130CThe 485 interface has been added to all the functions of the 3K130B model, which makes it easy to realize remote monitoring and data transmission.
- BWD-3K130DThe 3K130B model has three 4-20mA current outputs for remote transmission of temperature signals, in addition to all the functions of the 3K130B model.
Installation and Maintenance
- mounting: The mounting location is generally chosen on the transformer heat sink for easy installation and heat dissipation of the temperature sensor. The installation needs to ensure that the sensor fits closely to the heat sink to improve the accuracy of temperature measurement.
- safeguard: Regularly check the appearance of the thermostat to see whether the sensor is intact, whether the wiring is solid, whether the display is clear, etc.. At the same time, should regularly view the temperature controller recorded historical temperature data, analyze the transformer operating conditions, for maintenance work to provide data support.
