BWDK-326 Temperature Controller Model and Function

BWDKThe -326 series of dry-type transformer temperature controllers are available in a variety of models, each of which corresponds to a different functional configuration, as described below:

BWDK-326G Same as type D, with one additional way of measuring and controlling the ambient temperature of the machine room.
BWDK-326I The same as D type, adding a transformer core temperature measurement and alarm.
BWDK-326EF On the basis of D type, RS-485 communication function and 4~20mA analog current output are added at the same time.

The BWDK-326 supports the following functions related to fan control:
  • Cooling fan automatic start/stop outputWhen the transformer winding temperature reaches the set fan start temperature, the temperature controller will automatically start the fan for forced air cooling; when the temperature drops below the set fan shutdown temperature, the fan will automatically stop.
  • Fan manual/automatic control switching: Users can manually control the start and stop of the fan through the panel buttons, or set it to automatic control mode to realize unattended operation.
  • Fan timer start/stop functionIn order to prevent the fan from rusting or clogging when it is not running for a long period of time, BWDK-326D also has the function of starting the fan at regular intervals, and the user can set the regular time so that the fan will run automatically for a certain period of time after it reaches the set time.
  • Wind turbine condition detection and protection: The thermostat detects fan operation status and sends an alarm signal in case of fan failure or sensor abnormality.
