The on-line monitoring system for switchgear circuit breaker action characteristics collects key parameters such as current, displacement, vibration, voltage and so on during the operation of the circuit breaker through a variety of sensors (current sensors, displacement sensors, vibration sensors, voltage sensors and so on) as well as auxiliary switching contacts. These collected signals will be transmitted to the core processing unit, in the core processing unit, first through the A/D conversion, signal amplification, signal compilation and other processing steps, and then by the central processor for arithmetic analysis, while the data will be stored in the memory.
On the one hand, the processed information is transferred to the display through the input/output interface circuit and output circuit to realize the local display of data; on the other hand, it can be sent to the monitoring center through the function of data remote transmission, and can also trigger the sound and light alarm in case of abnormality. The monitoring personnel can check the status of the circuit breaker in the monitoring center, and make timely adjustments to the circuit breaker if it is found that the parameters of the circuit breaker are bad, so as to ensure the normal and safe operation of the circuit breaker.
