Installation Guide

Operation Guide

  • Basic Function Operation::
    • Temperature displayThe temperature value of the transformer's three-phase windings can be displayed in a touring mode for about 6 seconds, or only the highest temperature value of one of the three phases can be displayed.
    • Fan controlWhen the temperature value of any one of the three-phase windings reaches the set fan start-up temperature value (default 100℃), the fan starts automatically; when the temperature drops below the set fan shutdown temperature value (default 80℃), the fan stops automatically. The fan can also be manually controlled by pressing the manual/increase key on the thermostat panel. If the fan is not stopped manually after it is started manually, the fan will stop automatically after running for about 15 minutes.
    • Alarm functionWhen the temperature value of any one of the three-phase windings reaches the set value of over-temperature alarm temperature (default 130℃), the thermostat issues an alarm sound, and at the same time there is a switching signal output from the alarm terminal; when the sensor is open-circuited or short-circuited, the thermostat issues an alarm sound, and the display shows "X - OP -", and at the same time there is a switching signal output from the fault terminal. signal output.
    • Trip function: When the temperature value of any one of the three-phase windings reaches the set over-temperature trip temperature value (default 150°C), a switching signal is output from the trip terminal of the thermostat to activate the trip circuit.
  • parameterization: The parameter setting of the thermostat can be done through the operation guide on the inside of the flip cover or door, without cumbersome password setting. In general, the factory default setting values are as follows:
    • Fan shutdown temperature T1: 80℃, adjustable temperature range 0～200℃.
    • Fan start-up temperature T2: 100℃, adjustable temperature range 0～200℃.
    • Over-temperature alarm temperature T3: 130℃, adjustable temperature range 0～200℃.
    • Over-temperature trip temperature T4: 150℃, adjustable temperature range 100～200℃.
    • Note: Setting the temperature should follow T4＞T3＞T2＞T1＋4 (4 is the minimum return value for fan start/stop).
  • Special Function Operation::
    • Fan Timing DetectionThe thermostat can detect and protect the fan at regular intervals according to the set time. The setting range of the regular detection time is 0 to 199 hours, and the setting range of the amount of time for each detection of fan operation is 2 to 60 minutes.
    • Output Function Analog Detection: An analog temperature value within the measuring range of the thermostat can be input to test whether the control function of the thermostat is normal, but the control output function test does not allow the analog over-temperature trip signal output, so as not to cause the transformer to be tripped by mistake.
    • "Black box" function: The thermostat records the temperature values of the three-phase windings at the moment of transformer blackout and the operating status of the thermostat, and updates the recorded data in due course.
