II. Functional characteristics

Inside the thermostat, three sets of switches for flexible temperature adjustment have been cleverly installed. Each of these three groups of switches plays its own role and works perfectly together, taking on different functions. One group of switches is mainly used to activate the multi-group cooling system. When the oil temperature of the top layer of the transformer rises to the set value, the switches act quickly to activate the cooling system in time to cool down the transformer and ensure that it operates within the safe temperature range. The second group of switches focuses on the over-temperature alarm function. Once the oil temperature exceeds the normal range, it immediately triggers the alarm device, reminding the operation and maintenance personnel to take measures in time to avoid equipment failures or even accidents due to high temperature, which greatly improves the safety of transformer operation. III. Analysis of the working principle

From the working principle point of view, BWY series transformer oil level temperature controller is mainly composed of three key components, namely elastic element, capillary tube and temperature sensing package. These three components are closely linked to form a sealed system, and the system is filled with a special temperature-sensitive medium.
When the temperature of the oil in the top layer of the transformer changes, the temperature sensing package installed on the oil tank senses this temperature change in real time. As the temperature rises and falls, the volume of the temperature-sensitive medium also changes accordingly. This small change in volume is like a keen messenger, through the capillary tube connected to the temperature sensing package is transmitted to the temperature controller inside the elastic element. The elastic element receives this signal and undergoes a corresponding displacement, just like a precise lever, which converts the small volume change into an obvious mechanical displacement.
This displacement is further amplified by the internal delicate mechanical drive mechanism, which drives the pointer to move on the dial of the thermostat, visually indicating the current value of the top layer oil temperature of the transformer, which is convenient for the field operation and maintenance personnel to read the temperature information quickly. At the same time, when the temperature reaches the pre-set threshold, this displacement will also drive the micro temperature switch action.
